The Coalition is currently in the process of organizing taxi drivers to change the deplorable working conditions, harassment and city corruption faced by drivers in the city of Toronto.

We have successfully organized protests and discussions with the Police Services Board, assisted several drivers facing criminal charges, organized events to address the issue of safety for taxi drivers and supported the family of our lost colleague Morteza Khorasani.

Membership in the Coalition is open to all those who are interested in fighting for justice for drivers.

The Coalition is asking all Labour Unions and other Social Justice groups to support this initiative by donating the resources necessary to give a voice to the drivers who currently lack almost any voice in one of Toronto’s most lucrative and important industries.

So celebrate MAY DAY with the Toronto Coalition of Concerned Taxi Drivers and Vaughn and Oakwoods finest
