Indian communities and the MNR are constantly doing battle over never-ending attempts to curtail or eradicate First Nations hunting and fishing practices.

While the tragic events of September 11th (and the subsequent fall out) have forced people to re-focus much of their attention, we felt it important to spread the word about some of our recent victories--both to remind ourselves that we are capable of winning through direct action, and to dispel some unfortunate rumours.
